IV Treatment FAQs
What is Boxywrx IV Therapy?
Bodywrx IV therapy offers personalized intravenous infusions designed to support the body during moments of depletion, stress, travel, or recovery. Each blend is thoughtfully composed to match a specific state-whether you’re feeling run down, low on energy, or in need of steadier support. The experience is calm, intentional, and centered on helping you feel more like yourself again.
Who administers the IV?
All of our IV infusion specialists are Registered Nurses (RN) who are trained and experienced in administering IV treatments. They are supervised by our Medical Director, who is an MD.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require at least 24-hour advanced notice or rescheduling or cancellation. You will be charged if you reschedule or cancel less than 24 hours prior to your appointment time. See full policy here
Will I feel anything during the infusion?
Most people simply relax during treatment. Depending on the formula, some patients notice mild sensations such as warmth or a slight vitamin taste, which typically resolve quickly.
Are IV treatments safe?
When administered by trained medical professionals and tailored to the individual, IV therapies are generally very well tolerated. Our team reviews medical history and vital signs before treatment to ensure the infusion is appropriate.
How does IV therapy compare to supplements?
IV therapy delivers nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This allows your body to receive higher concentrations than what can typically be absorbed through oral supplements.
How quickly will I feel the effects?
Some patients notice changes within hours such as improved hydration or mental clarity while others experience more gradual benefits over the following day or two. It often depends on the nutrients used and your baseline hydration or nutrient levels.
What is the difference between NAD⁺ and NR infusions?
Both support cellular energy pathways, but they feel a bit different during treatment. NAD⁺ infusions are typically administered more slowly and can take longer, while NR-based infusions tend to be lighter and faster for many patients. Your provider will help determine which approach aligns best with your goals.
How often should I receive IV therapy?
Frequency varies depending on the individual and the purpose of treatment. Some patients schedule occasional sessions for recovery or travel, while others incorporate infusions more regularly as part of a broader wellness routine.
What does a well-designed IV program look like?
The most effective approach is personalized. Rather than a one-size-fits-all formula, treatments are selected based on goals, health history, and how the body responds over time.
